Owners and key financial decisionmakers of for-profit businesses, share your recent experiences. Did your business seek financing such as loans or lines of credit in the last 12 months? How would you rate the financial condition of your business?

The Federal Reserve’s 2022 Small Business Credit Survey is open for responses, and Sul Ross State University- Rio Grande College SBDC is a partner on this effort. By taking the survey, you contribute to data that directly informs the Fed, federal government agencies, service providers, policymakers, and others—ultimately benefitting your business and other businesses like yours.

The survey is open to businesses currently in operation, those recently closed, and those about to launch. All responses are confidential.

SBDC assists small business owners and new entrepreneurs by providing no charge, one-on-one business management advising, business management workshops and business technical assistance. Our primary focus is on delivering business advising and management training to small businesses in our 8 counties in The Big Bend Region.

SRSU-SBDC’s confidential business advising services are provided at no cost to the client by our five counselors in all of our four locations. Advising sessions are designed to help clients address start-up issues, marketing, managing a business, business planning, financing, accounting, strategic planning, human resources, taxes, and many other areas. In addition to our business advising services, the SRSU-SBDC offers a diverse range of free to low-cost live seminars and no-cost online training that is accessible 24/7.

The SRSU SBDC works closely with clients to develop business plans and loan proposals. Advisors guide existing and startup business owners through the business plan process and assist them in compiling the necessary information and documents. Advisement sessions are kept strictly confidential and are at no cost to the client.
